Our Philosophy

We believe education is discipleship. Heritage exists to partner with Christian families in raising children who not only think clearly and speak persuasively, but who also love what is true, good, and beautiful.

Our approach is grounded in the classical Christian tradition, which has shaped Western civilization for centuries. We teach using the Trivium—Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric—and integrate every subject with a biblical worldview. We don’t teach just for college and career—we teach for wisdom, virtue, and a life lived under the lordship of Christ.

Heritage Classical Christian School began with a simple but profound conviction: Christian parents are called to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord—and they shouldn’t have to do it alone.

Our Story

In 2024, a small group of homeschool families in Tillamook, Oregon, gathered around kitchen tables, prayerfully discussing their desire for a school that would uphold timeless truth, cultivate virtue, and partner with parents to form whole children—mind, heart, and soul. Disillusioned with modern educational trends and driven by a passion for Christ-centered learning, they envisioned a place where Scripture, scholarship, and stewardship could thrive together.

Out of this shared vision, Heritage was born: a nonprofit, two-day hybrid classical Christian program built on the foundation of the Trivium, rooted in biblical truth, and designed to support families who want more than just academics—they want discipleship.

From those early conversations to our first classrooms, Heritage is committed to forming students who love truth, live wisely, and walk humbly with their God.
