Our Philosophy

At Heritage Classical Christian, we believe education is discipleship. We partner with families to form students who think clearly, speak truthfully, and love what is good, true, and beautiful.

Rooted in the classical Christian tradition, we use the Trivium—Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric—to cultivate wisdom and disciplined thinking. Every subject is taught through a biblical worldview, recognizing Christ as Lord over all of life. Our goal is not only academic growth, but the formation of the whole person—mind, heart, and soul.

Our Story

In 2024, a small group of homeschool families in Tillamook, Oregon, came together with a shared conviction: parents are called to raise their children in the Lord, and they should not have to do it alone.

Heritage was born from that vision as a nonprofit, instructor-led hybrid program, providing structured, two-day instruction and supplemental academic support alongside guided learning at home. We exist to come alongside families in cultivating truth, wisdom, and Christ-centered living.

What Makes Heritage Distinct

Biblical Worldview
All learning is grounded in Scripture, shaping how we understand truth and the world.

Classical Christian Education
We use time-tested tools—Latin, logic, literature, history, and mathematics—to train the mind and cultivate a love of learning.

Instructor-Led Hybrid Model
Students attend on campus two days per week, engaging in rich instruction and hands-on labs, while continuing guided learning at home on non-campus days.

Ready-to-Go Learning Plan
We remove much of the day-to-day planning from homeschooling by providing a clear, structured plan—allowing families to open and go with confidence and ease.

Virtue Formation
We seek to develop students who are wise, humble, courageous, and faithful.

Partnership with Parents
We operate in loco parentis, coming alongside families in the formation of their children.
